Placing an order
Once we have taken all of your vital measurements, we will need to start work creating your custom clothing. In order to begin this process, we will need to take a deposit to the value of 50% of the full balance, with the remaining amount payable when you are completely satisfied. We will ensure all costs are itemised and transparent so that you know exactly what you are paying for.
Cutting & Sewing
You have probably heard of the phrase “cut from the same cloth” before. Well, this is the process in which the saying was born. The cutting and sewing of your custom clothing will be undertaken with extreme care, with all of the fabric for your garment being cut from the same roll. This ensures consistency throughout. We use tailoring styles passed down across generations including Neapolitan, Milanese, Florentine and Saville Row. Once cut, the individual pieces are sewn together to create a unique shape and form. The final part of this process involves the introduction of intricate details such as buttons, buttonholes and buckles.
First Fitting Appointment
During your first fitting you will be required to try on your custom clothing. You are encouraged to give open and honest feedback on the fit and how it feels. You should consider areas that are too tight and those that feel too loose. Remember, your new custom clothing should fit you perfectly. Our Bespoke Maestro tailor will also give you their opinion on any alterations that may be needed. Together, you will both agree on any changes whilst arranging a convenient date and time for your second fitting.
Second Fitting Appointment
Following your first fitting appointment, your custom clothing will be pinned up in order to let our tailors know where alterations are needed. These will be carried out in time for your second fitting. This is your chance to try on the final creation. At this point, the suit should fit you like a glove, though we will be more than happy to make further alterations if they are needed.
