Lightweight tailoring for warm-weather ceremonies
Destination Wedding
Tailoring made to travel: cloth that resists creasing, construction that survives a garment bag, and colors suited to Mexico, Hawaii, the Mediterranean and anywhere the ceremony happens in heat.
Signature Elements
- —Crease-resistant high-twist and fresco cloths
- —Lighter internal construction for packing
- —Warm-weather palette in ivory, sand, sky and sage
- —Timeline planning around travel and final fittings
Recommended Fabrics
Fresco and open-weave high-twist wool · Wool-linen and wool-silk-linen blends · Lightweight tropical worsteds under 8oz
From $2,500
Cloth that travels
High-twist wool recovers from folding far better than linen or cotton, which means the garment can be packed, hung for a few hours at the destination and worn without pressing.
Plan the timeline backwards
For a destination wedding we work backwards from the travel date, not the wedding date. Final fittings are completed before you fly, with an earlier start than a local wedding requires.
One garment, several events
Destination weddings usually involve a welcome dinner, the ceremony and a farewell brunch. We plan garments that recombine across those events so you travel with less.
